Get answers to common questions about Stomach Waxing.
Most clients enjoy smooth, hair-free stomachs for three to six weeks. Duration varies by individual hair growth, hormones and aftercare. Regular waxing sessions can extend time between appointments and produce finer, sparser regrowth over several treatments.
Some discomfort is normal, usually mild to moderate. Pain depends on individual sensitivity and hair coarseness. To reduce discomfort, arrive rested, avoid caffeine, use gentle breathing techniques, consider topical numbing if needed, and trust our trained technicians for quick, efficient waxing.
Trim or allow hair to grow to about a quarter inch for effective removal. Gently exfoliate 48 hours prior, avoid retinoids and sunburns, skip heavy lotions right before your visit, and arrive clean for best results and minimal irritation.
Active sunburn, open wounds, severe eczema or psoriasis flare-ups, and recent chemical peels or retinoid use can prevent safe waxing. Always inform your technician of medical conditions or medications. We’ll assess skin and recommend alternatives or reschedule if waxing isn’t safe at that time.
Most clients return every four to six weeks depending on personal hair growth and lifestyle. Regular appointments help maintain smooth results and can lead to finer regrowth over time. Your technician will recommend a custom schedule based on how quickly your hair returns.
Keep the area clean and avoid hot baths, saunas, heavy exercise, and direct sun for 24–48 hours. Use gentle, fragrance-free moisturizers and exfoliate after 48–72 hours to prevent ingrown hairs. If irritation occurs, apply a soothing cream or contact our salon for advice.
