Most clients enjoy smooth skin for three to six weeks depending on hair growth cycles and individual hair types. Regular appointments help extend smoother periods and reduce regrowth visibility over time.

Sensitivity varies by person, but the service is brief and discomfort is usually short-lived. To reduce sensitivity, avoid caffeine, gently exfoliate beforehand, and consider breathing techniques or topical numbing creams if needed.

Arrive with clean, dry skin and hair about a quarter-inch long. Avoid heavy lotions, recent sun exposure, and strong topical retinoids. Light exfoliation a day or two before can help, but skip it on the appointment day.

After waxing, avoid hot showers, intense exercise, saunas, and heavy fragrances for 24–48 hours. Apply a soothing, fragrance-free gel and use gentle exfoliation after 48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs.

Regular waxing can reduce ingrown hairs over time by weakening hair follicles and encouraging finer regrowth. Combine consistent appointments with routine exfoliation and moisturizing to minimize ingrowns and maintain smoother skin.

The ideal length is about a quarter-inch (roughly 6 mm). If hair is too short the wax can’t grip; if too long, the service may be more uncomfortable. Trimming slightly beforehand is fine.
